VP & Head of Business Finance Change Management (Global Markets)

About the role

The Global Markets Business Finance team at First Abu Dhabi Bank is looking for a senior leader to head its Change Management function. Reporting to the CFO of CIB Finance & International, the role drives digital transformation, controls implementation and operational efficiency across Global Markets and Group Treasury.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a techno‑functional advisory team, acting as liaison between Global Markets, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, IT and PMO.
• Design and implement controls, automation and process re‑engineering initiatives to improve governance, accuracy and reporting efficiency.
• Centralise system change requests, manage business requirement documents, oversee UAT and ensure global roll‑outs.
• Collaborate with Product Control, Treasury, Operations and Risk to support new product deployments and enhance Murex downstream systems.
• Represent the finance function in integration and migration activities for mergers and acquisitions.
• Address audit and compliance issues by delivering tactical and strategic solutions.

Required profile

• Extensive track record delivering techno‑functional, bank‑wide projects with proven leadership in a top‑tier institution.
• Strong business acumen and technical expertise in systems and infrastructure.
• Excellent stakeholder management and senior‑level presentation skills.
• Numerical, analytical and interpersonal expertise to represent the team on strategic initiatives.
• 10‑12 years of experience in a similar senior finance change management role within an international bank.
