About the role
The Head of Finance, Financial Institutions & Strategic Projects oversees the finance function supporting MashreqBank’s Financial Institutions (FI) business, a fast‑growing, globally focused segment operating across multiple geographies. The role drives the strategic and operational finance agenda for FI in close partnership with senior business and product stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the finance function supporting the Financial Institutions (FI) business across multiple geographies.
- Support the strategic and operational finance agenda for FI, collaborating with the Head of Financial Institutions, Group Head of CIBG, and other key stakeholders.
- Accountable for shared strategic priorities across Wholesale Banking, including digital programmes, new product implementations, and finance transformation projects such as WDS, Titan, and Pulse.
- Manage the FI unit to service Mashreq’s expanding institutional client base and enhance cross‑border capabilities.
