VP – Information Security (IT)

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President of Information Security to define and execute the organization’s security strategy. The leader will protect critical information assets, enhance cyber‑resilience, and advise senior executives on risk, compliance, and emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise security roadmap, policies, and governance framework.
• Oversee risk management, regulatory compliance, audits, and security controls.
• Manage security operations including SOC oversight, incident response, threat monitoring, and vulnerability management.
• Drive cloud security, data protection, identity and access management, and secure technology adoption.
• Establish third‑party/vendor security risk management practices.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber‑resilience initiatives.
• Embed security across IT infrastructure, applications, digital transformation, and AI projects.
• Provide executive reporting on security posture, incidents, and remediation plans.
• Lead, coach, and develop internal security teams and external partners.
• Promote a strong security culture and awareness throughout the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10‑15 years of experience in IT/Information Security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in governance, risk management, compliance, SOC operations and incident response.
• Background in regulated or critical sectors such as aviation, defense, government, energy, healthcare, banking or telecom is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CCSP.
• Technical domains: cloud security, data protection, identity & access management, SOC operations, incident response, threat monitoring, vulnerability management.
