VP, International Finance

About the role

The Vice President, International Finance will lead analysis of the bank’s international banking business, identifying profitability drivers and supporting strategic decisions across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform profitability analysis for International Banking, building and maintaining analytical models to identify profit drivers across customer segments, products, and locations.
• Deliver insights on why and how profitability and costs are impacted, and produce ad‑hoc scenarios for future financial outcomes.
• Support the International CFO in establishing a robust financial review governance framework, including performance reviews, country strategy, and optimization initiatives.
• Act as primary point of contact for finance transformation projects, providing analytical input to improve returns and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with Group Finance, country finance teams, and product/segment finance to ensure accurate reporting, investigate anomalies, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification (ACA, CPA, MBA) with 10‑12 years of finance, business partnering, FP&A, audit or tax experience in a banking environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, corporate tax and transfer pricing, and experience across multiple countries.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, self‑motivation and ability to document issues and propose solutions.
