VP of Healthcare Operations (Remote, Expert Consulting)

About the role

Ethos is seeking an experienced VP of Healthcare Operations to work remotely as an expert consultant. You will help train a cutting‑edge AI language model by creating, reviewing, and refining professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks that support core hospital workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate AI‑generated patient throughput and bed utilization models.
• Design care pathway and clinical workflow redesign proposals.
• Produce service‑line performance dashboards and reimbursement analysis decks.
• Create staffing ratio, labor cost optimization models, and quality‑improvement reports.
• Collaborate with the AI lab to ensure outputs meet executive‑level standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in hospital operations, health‑system consulting, or care‑delivery redesign.
• Direct ownership of patient throughput, service‑line performance, or staffing/reimbursement modeling.
• Proven ability to brief senior hospital executives or health‑system leadership.

Required skills

• Expert‑level document, spreadsheet, and slide deck craftsmanship.
• Strong written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
