VP Precious Metals E‑Trading

About the role

The Global Foreign Exchange business is seeking a Vice President to lead electronic metals trading in the APAC region. You will manage e‑spot risk, collaborate with technology and sales teams, and drive innovation in pricing and hedging.

Key responsibilities

• Manage e‑spot risk and monitor positions, liquidity and market conditions in the APAC timezone.
• Improve pricing engines, hedging models and predictive analytics.
• Work with technology developers to maintain a best‑in‑class trading platform.
• Partner with sales and structuring teams to market e‑offering and optimise revenue.
• Provide cross‑coverage on linear voice products across currencies and products.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic metals trading.
• Proven ability to manage market risk on an electronic platform.
• Strong commercial focus and problem‑solving skills.
• Team player with excellent communication abilities.

Required skills

• High‑frequency pricing models and quant research.
• Knowledge of pricing engines and hedging models used in electronic trading.
• In‑depth understanding of precious metals spot and forward markets.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and optimise workflows.
