Waiter – Italian Speaker for 2‑Michelin Restaurant

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Italian‑speaking waiter to join the service team at Il Ristorante, a 2‑Michelin‑starred restaurant located in Bvlgari Resort Dubai. The role involves delivering impeccable dining experiences to a discerning international clientele in a luxury setting.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages, ensuring timing and presentation meet the restaurant’s high standards.
• Set tables according to the event type and service style, and maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and equipment throughout the shift.
• Answer guest inquiries about menu selections, communicate special dietary requirements, allergies, and re‑cook orders to the kitchen.
• Record all orders and transactions accurately in the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Check in with guests during service to confirm satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
• Complete closing duties such as restocking, turning off lights, and presenting accurate checks for payment.
• Adhere to all company safety, security, uniform, and confidentiality policies.

Required profile

• Fluent in Italian and able to communicate clearly in English.
• Minimum 12 months experience in fine‑dining or upscale restaurant service.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance, and navigate stairs or service ramps.
• Professional appearance, strong attention to detail, and a genuine hospitality mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
