Waiter / Waitress – Full‑Time at Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join the EDITION hotel in Dubai as a Waiter/Waitress, delivering high‑end food and beverage service to discerning guests. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on creating memorable dining experiences in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer guest questions about menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding availability, special requests, and order status.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks for payment.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Adhere to company safety, security, and uniform policies while supporting guests with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
