Waiter / Waitress

About the role

The Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights is looking for a waiter or waitress to deliver personalized service to guests and create lasting memories through their drinking and dining experience. The role covers serving, handling payments and supporting the restaurant team.

Key responsibilities

• Host and serve all guests, ensuring an exceptional drinking and dining experience
• Report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found, and follow up with guests
• Perform opening and closing procedures, monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastage
• Handle cash and credit card payments
• Know food and beverage products well enough to recommend combinations, upsell and cross-sell
• Maintain a high standard of grooming and hygiene, and keep good relations with colleagues and other departments
• Support supervisors and the team, and carry out other reasonable duties assigned

Required profile

• Ideally a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in hotel operations
• Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
