Waiter / Waitress – Upmarket Casual Dining

About the role

Apt Resources is recruiting a Waiter/Waitress for an upmarket casual dining restaurant in Ras Al Khaimah. The restaurant is known for its excellent service, welcoming atmosphere and a menu of innovative dishes made from high-quality ingredients. The role is central to giving guests a warm, memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests promptly on arrival
• Present menus and explain menu items, specials and recommendations
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's ordering system
• Serve orders promptly and monitor guest satisfaction during the meal
• Prepare tables with linens, utensils and glassware
• Work with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and positively
• Keep dining areas clean and organised
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Upsell menu items and promote special offers when appropriate

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a casual dining environment, preferably upmarket
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant training or certifications are a plus
• Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Required skills

• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus and pairing options
• Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
