About the role
We are looking for a courteous Waiter/Waitress to serve food and alcoholic beverages at our luxury resort in Dubai. The role involves ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service, accurate order taking, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Serve food courses and drinks, set tables according to event type, and answer menu questions.
- Communicate with the kitchen about menu items, special dietary needs, and order status.
- Record orders and process payments using the MICROS POS system.
- Check in with guests throughout the service to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
- Adhere to company safety, security, and uniform policies, and assist guests with disabilities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant food and beverage service experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
