Waiter/Waitress – Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking proactive, customer‑oriented individuals to join our team as waiters and waitresses at The Cove Rotana Resort in Ras Al Khaimah. In this full‑time position you will be the front‑line of our dining experience, ensuring guests receive attentive service from the moment they are seated until they leave.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables and present menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, checking for satisfaction throughout the service.
• Process payments, handle cash transactions and operate the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area.
• Assist with setup and service for special events or functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a waiter or waitress in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, including shifts on weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.

Required skills

• Knowledge of menu items and ability to make recommendations.
• Cash handling and basic POS operation.
• Attention to detail and adherence to hygiene standards.
