Waiter/Waitress – In‑Room Dining

About the role

Join the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah team as an In‑Room Dining Waiter/Waitress and deliver memorable food and beverage experiences to hotel guests. You will support the service team, uphold the highest hospitality standards, and contribute to the overall guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the captain or head waiter during service, staying constantly at their disposal.
• Promote in‑house sales by maintaining optimal knowledge of all hotel services, outlets, opening hours and promotions.
• Prepare and maintain service stations: clean trolleys, polish cutlery, stock sugar dispensers, mustard pots, toothpicks, oil & vinegar containers, and linen.
• Follow daily cleaning plans and restaurant closure procedures.
• Provide high‑level food and beverage service, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
• Recognize quality products and presentation standards, checking and improving service standards.
• Assist staff during peak periods and support waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Attend mandatory meetings and perform general cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist security with disorderly guests when required.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
• Familiarity with hotel promotions, opening hours, and service standards.
• Ability to follow cleaning, polishing, and mise en place procedures.
• Understanding of Food & Beverage policies and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Willingness to support peak‑time operations and waste‑reduction efforts.
