Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Hotel – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join the food and beverage team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, a 5‑star beachfront resort. The role involves delivering high‑quality service to guests in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the outlet for service, including mise‑en‑place, table setting and light cleaning.
• Take food and beverage orders, upsell where appropriate, and record sales using the POS system.
• Serve meals and drinks according to brand standards and guest specifications.
• Clear tables, transport dirty dishes, and maintain a clean workstation.
• Complete opening and closing duties and handle special guest requests.
• Adhere to presentation guidelines and brand standards set by the Food & Beverage Manager.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Energetic, fun‑loving attitude with a passion for hospitality.
• Currently residing in the United Arab Emirates.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating a point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
