About the role
The EDITION hotel in Downtown Dubai is seeking a friendly and attentive waitress for its Italian restaurant. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service to guests, handling orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests, following service standards.
- Set tables according to the event type and maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware.
- Answer menu questions, communicate special dietary needs to the kitchen, and record orders in the MICROS system.
- Check in with guests throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
- Present accurate checks, process payments, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
- Adhere to company safety policies, maintain a professional appearance, and support guests with disabilities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- At least 1 year of related waitstaff experience in a restaurant or hotel setting.
