Wardrobe Attendant – Laundry

About the role

The Wardrobe Attendant – Laundry is part of the Guest Environment Expert team at W Hotels, responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the entire property. This role supports guest satisfaction by handling laundry, delivering guest requests, stocking carts, and ensuring public and back‑of‑house areas are tidy and well‑maintained. The position works closely with housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver guest requests promptly and efficiently.
• Stock and replenish carts, linens, and laundry supplies.
• Clean guest rooms, public spaces and back‑of‑house areas to Marriott quality standards.
• Assist with sorting, washing and folding laundry according to hotel standards.
• Report any maintenance or supply issues to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a safe workplace by following company policies, handling objects up to 50 lb without assistance, and upholding confidentiality.
• Ensure personal uniform, appearance and communication are professional at all times.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and perform hands‑on tasks.
• Physical capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place items weighing ≤50 lb without assistance.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards and confidentiality.
• Professional demeanor with appropriate uniform and communication.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and use housekeeping equipment safely.
