Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are a fast‑growing logistics and import‑export firm operating in the UAE’s vibrant trade corridor. As we expand our ground operations across the Gulf region, we need a Warehouse Assistant to ensure accuracy, speed and safety within our warehouse ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and log incoming shipments with 100% accuracy using barcode systems or manual manifests.
• Organise and store inventory following FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Pick, pack and prepare outgoing orders for local and international dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
• Operate and maintain pallet jacks, forklifts (with valid certification) and scanning devices.
• Conduct daily inventory counts, report discrepancies and support monthly cycle counts.
• Follow health, safety and compliance protocols aligned with OSHA and UAE warehouse regulations.

Required profile

• Experience with barcode scanner operation and inventory management systems (WMS).
• Proficiency in pallet‑jack operation and a valid UAE forklift licence.
• Ability to perform stock counting, cycle counting and basic data entry in Excel.
• Preferred experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle NetSuite.
• Knowledge of UAE customs documentation for import/export.
• Arabic language proficiency (written and spoken) is a plus.
