Warehouse Specialist – GMP & SAP Materials Management

About the role

The Warehouse Specialist ensures secure receipt, temperature‑controlled storage, and accurate SAP‑tracked issuance of raw and packaging materials. The role supports GMP compliance, drives root‑cause investigations, and collaborates with procurement and finance to resolve material discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Visually cross‑check and manage safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispensing of raw and packaging materials.
• Execute all SAP processes, maintaining real‑time updates of material locations, stock levels, and returns.
• Issue materials via Material Transfer Vouchers according to operational plans and update the system during handover.
• Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits, reconciling stock against SAP reports.
• Generate Goods Receipt reports, maintain item records, and produce Material Destruction Forms for expired or obsolete items.
• Ensure GMP and data‑integrity compliance by completing logbooks, checklists, and quality records on time.
• Manage QMS tasks in the Ample‑logic system, handling deviations, CAPA, change controls, and AMs.
• Monitor climate‑control conditions, oversee cold‑store, refrigerator, and freezer inventories.
• Control access to restricted areas and lead HSE initiatives, including incident investigations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in secure receipt, storage, and issuance of raw and packaging materials.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, data‑integrity standards, and quality management processes.
• Ability to lead root‑cause investigations and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience coordinating with procurement, finance, and production teams.
• Familiarity with warehouse security and HSE best practices.
