Water Quality Technician – Level 3

About the role

The Water Quality Technician (Level 3) is responsible for maintaining the appearance and water quality of all water features, swimming pools and the waterpark at Atlantis, The Palm. This role ensures a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare swimming pools for use, including unlocking and removing pool covers.
• Maintain pools by vacuuming, washing decks, flushing gutters and disinfecting pool areas.
• Clean, scrub and polish metal work and accessories.
• Collect debris around pool areas and keep mechanical, storage, electrical and boiler rooms tidy.
• Inspect plumbing and lighting systems, report any damages and ensure safe pool operation.
• Conduct water analysis and daily safety inspections.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors related to water quality.

Required profile

• 1–3 years experience in 5‑star hotel environments.
• Desirable experience in water theme parks or facility management services.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Must be a certified pool operator (or obtain certification during probation).
• Must be able to swim and work flexible shift hours, including night or day shifts.
