Wedding and Social Events Manager

About the role

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for contracting and closing local catering and social business, ensuring timely turnover for quality service delivery. The role drives revenue by up‑selling opportunities and implementing brand service strategies to create exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manages sales efforts for local corporate and social catering, responding to incoming opportunities and qualifying new business.
• Collaborates with off‑property sales channels to coordinate efforts and avoid duplication.
• Negotiates contracts, designs creative catered events and upsells packages to maximize revenue.
• Develops menus, prepares proposals, writes contracts and supports operational execution of booked events.
• Monitors revenue and expense budgets, provides forecasting reports and ensures guest issues are resolved promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services or related fields.
• Or an associate degree (2‑year) in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related discipline (no experience required).
