Welding QC Inspector

About the role

Archirodon is seeking a Welding QC Inspector to join its quality control team on a project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring welding work complies with project specifications, standards and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Review project technical specifications, drawings and BOQ to determine quality and engineering criteria for welding and RTFI works.
• Perform verification inspections of welding/RTFI work elements to assure compliance with established procedures and project requirements.
• Participate in on‑site receiving inspection of welding/RTFI materials.
• Prepare and review welding specifications, mix designs and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Maintain a strong understanding of welding testing standards.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Experience on ADNOC or similar large‑scale EPC projects in the UAE or Gulf region.
• CSWIP 3.1 certification.
• ASNT Level II – Radiography Test Film and Interpretation.
• Minimum five years of experience in the oil & gas field.
• Fluency in English and proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
