Welding/NDT Inspector – Oil & Gas (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Welding/NDT Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi, supporting on‑shore and off‑shore oil and gas projects. The role involves third‑party inspection, verification of welding activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform third‑party inspection and verification of welding, process piping, and mechanical equipment.
• Conduct hydro‑testing and advanced NDT methods, and assess NDT procedures.
• Review and approve multidisciplinary ITPs, procedures, site queries, NCRs and concession requests.
• Prepare technical reports, QA/QC documentation and ensure compliance with codes.
• Liaise with EPC contractors and support project teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Welding or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years experience in on‑shore/off‑shore oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Computer literate.

Required skills

• CSWIP 3.1 or AWS‑CWI certification (desirable).
• PCN Level II or ASNT Level 2 qualification.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, DNV, ISO and BS codes.
• Experience with welding processes, hydro‑testing, piping and mechanical equipment.
