WHS Officer - Luxury Villa & Fit-Out Projects

About the role

Frankly Built is looking for an experienced and proactive WHS Officer to lead site safety and compliance across its luxury villa construction and commercial fit-out projects in Dubai. The role covers legal, regulatory and company safety standards, and promotes a culture of accountability, awareness and safe work practices on site.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and enforce WHS policies, procedures and site-specific safety plans
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA and other regulators
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and ongoing training to site personnel
• Maintain WHS documentation, inspection logs and reporting registers
• Work with Site Managers and Project Managers to improve safety performance
• Support the close-out of NCRs, audit findings and authority-related safety requirements
• Drive continuous improvement in WHS standards across multiple job sites

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of WHS/OHS experience in the construction industry
• Relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety (Cert IV or Diploma)
• Strong knowledge of UAE safety legislation, DM/DDA regulations and fit-out safety risks
• Experience on live construction and high-end interior fit-out sites
• Ability to influence teams and promote a positive safety culture
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
