Womenswear Fashion Designer

About the role

As a Womenswear Fashion Designer at SUMWON STUDIOS, you will shape trend‑led womenswear collections across a multi‑brand portfolio, working in a fast‑paced, digital‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Research, develop and execute trend‑led design concepts aligned with customer needs and commercial objectives.
• Create seasonal and reactive collections across categories such as dresses, tops, knitwear, tailoring, denim and occasionwear.
• Produce detailed design packs, technical specifications and product development documentation while meeting critical timelines.
• Monitor global trends, social media, competitors and cultural movements to inform design direction.
• Make commercially informed decisions, analyse product performance and adapt designs based on sell‑through data.
• Collaborate closely with Buying, Merchandising, Product Development, Production and creative teams to ensure successful execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related discipline.
• 3–5+ years designing womenswear in fast‑fashion, retail or e‑commerce.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics and trims.
• Excellent eye for trend forecasting and contemporary fashion culture.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and confident communicator.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
