WordPress Expert – Dubai Smart Home Automation

About the role

Dubai Smart Home Automation is looking for a WordPress expert to develop, manage and maintain its WordPress websites. The position can be based in Dubai or worked remotely, on a full-time, part-time or contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain WordPress websites.
• Customize themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Implement new features and functionalities to improve user experience.
• Optimize website performance, speed and SEO.
• Ensure the site is mobile-friendly and responsive.
• Troubleshoot and fix website issues and bugs promptly.
• Work with designers, marketers and other team members to reach project goals.
• Run regular website audits and make improvements.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a WordPress developer or in a similar role.
• Portfolio of previous WordPress projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
• Experience with WordPress themes, plugins and page builders such as Elementor and WPBakery.
• SEO knowledge and familiarity with website security practices.
• Preferred: WooCommerce, REST APIs, graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator), UX/UI understanding and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
