Workshop Maintenance Engineer I (Pneumatics)

About the role

Emirates Engineering is seeking a Workshop Maintenance Engineer I specialized in pneumatics to join its state‑of‑the‑art aircraft overhaul workshops in Dubai. You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing aircraft pneumatic components, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and GCAA CAR 145 regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and servicing of aircraft pneumatic components in line with approved technical publications.
• Verify that all tooling and equipment used are serviceable and appropriate for the task.
• Execute troubleshooting procedures efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules, housekeeping standards, and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with managers, senior engineers, and workshop staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Support performance management of assigned staff, including goal setting and reviews.
• Participate in required training and recurrent modules to stay current with CAR 145 requirements.

Required profile

• Valid personal approvals/licences applicable to aircraft pneumatic components.
• Experience in aircraft pneumatic maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of GCAA CAR 145 regulations and technical publications (CMM, aircraft documentation, technical notices).
• Ability to interpret and apply technical procedures accurately.
