Workshop Supervisor

About the role

A leading marine and shipyard company is looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to manage its workshop operations in Musaffah ICAD 2, Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that maintenance, repair, fabrication and installation activities are carried out safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all workshop maintenance, repair, fabrication and installation tasks.
• Lead and monitor technicians, mechanics, fabricators and subcontractors.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, HSE, QA/QC and other departments.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools, machinery and equipment requirements.
• Conduct workshop inspections and enforce safety and quality compliance.
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues and implement solutions.
• Prepare daily progress reports for management.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and equipment condition.
• Ensure compliance with marine, shipyard, HSE and company procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor in a marine, shipyard, offshore or heavy‑industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of workshop operations, mechanical maintenance, repair, fabrication and installation.
• Ability to supervise teams and manage multiple activities efficiently.
• Good communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of HSE and QA/QC requirements; UAE experience preferred.
