Workshop Technician – Mechanical Workshop

About the role
Al Tariq is looking for a skilled Workshop Technician to join its Prototype Workshop team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves manufacturing components and sub‑components from engineering drawings and supporting basic mechanical fabrication activities while maintaining high‑quality workmanship.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and schedule machine activities to meet production targets.
- Manufacture components within the specified tolerances.
- Ensure all machinery remains 100% functional at all times.
- Perform basic supporting mechanical fabrication tasks.
- Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
- Operate a variety of workshop machinery confidently.
Required profile
- Grade 12 school qualification.
- Qualified as a manual lathe and manual milling machine operator.
- Expertise in building different types of jigs.
- Basic welding and fabrication skills.
