A/C Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated A/C Technician to join the maintenance team at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure the hotel’s air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems operate efficiently, delivering a comfortable environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and repair electrical and mechanical refrigeration equipment such as freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan‑coil units and chillers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air‑conditioning and refrigeration plant.
• Monitor system performance, check door gaskets, latches and defrosting mechanisms.
• Respond to maintenance requests from all hotel departments and clean fan‑coil and air‑handling filters.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to diagnose failures and set up system functions.
• Control CFC venting, overhaul equipment, and verify oil and refrigerant levels.
• Coordinate parts procurement with the engineering storekeeper and comply with local technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in refrigeration maintenance or building services engineering (preferred).
• Previous experience in a similar hotel or commercial environment.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to identify faults and rectify subsystems quickly.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
