A/C Technician

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic A/C Technician to join our hotel’s maintenance team. You will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing temperature and air‑quality control systems to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems (freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chillers, etc.).
• Perform preventive maintenance on air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment throughout the hotel.
• Check performance of refrigeration components, door closing systems, defrosting mechanisms, and ice‑maker automation.
• Respond to maintenance requests from all departments and ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air‑handling filters.
• Cooperate with engineering colleagues to diagnose failures, oversee overhauls, and control CFC venting.
• Monitor refrigeration oil levels, manage major repairs, and coordinate parts procurement with the storekeeper.
• Ensure all work complies with local technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in refrigeration maintenance or building services engineering.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Good command of English and strong fault‑finding abilities.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, adaptable, and able to stay calm under pressure.
