Academic Manager – Marketing

About the role

We are seeking an Academic Manager for the Marketing discipline at our Dubai campus. The role supports faculty, oversees course delivery, and drives research and student project activities within a globally recognised business school.

Key responsibilities

• Assist faculty with research, preparation of teaching materials, quizzes, case analyses and other academic activities.
• Coordinate with the Registrar to ensure course design aligns with institutional standards and current academic practice.
• Support course delivery by conducting tutorials, providing pre‑reading, and managing assessment materials.
• Liaise with faculty before and during courses to resolve issues and ensure smooth delivery.
• Oversee student project scope, methodology, mentorship and periodic reviews, and assist in final assessments.
• Develop research outlines in collaboration with the Dean, Area Head and faculty, and lead knowledge‑management initiatives for the department.

Required profile

• Doctorate or equivalent academic qualification in Marketing or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in academic research and a strong publication record.
• Passion for an international teaching career and ability to mentor students and faculty.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with capacity to organise and prioritise multiple activities.
