Account Manager – Cisco Solutions

About the role

The Account Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining Cisco account plans to drive sales growth across the UAE market. You will work closely with Cisco partners, senior executives, and internal teams to ensure alignment with Cisco's go‑to‑market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain account plans that promote Cisco product and service sales.
• Build relationships with partners at all organizational levels, including senior executives.
• Recruit and develop B2B relationships within the IT segment in the UAE.
• Engage regularly with Cisco Partners' business managers and internal credit teams.
• Achieve assigned sales quotas for Cisco solutions.
• Monitor payments and manage credit lines with partners.
• Conduct weekly meetings with Cisco Account Managers to align priorities.
• Provide enablement and support to sales representatives within partner organizations.
• Stay updated on current networking technologies, especially Cisco offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred but not mandatory).
• 1–2 years of IT sales experience, preferably at distribution level.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE IT market.
• Valid UAE driver’s license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to manage multiple partners simultaneously and handle high sales quotas.
• Experience in credit line management and partner recruitment.
• Solid understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and channel dynamics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking technologies.
