Account Receivable Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Account Receivable Specialist to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing the full cycle of receivables, ensuring timely invoicing, collection, and accurate reconciliation of customer accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and dispatch invoices to clients promptly.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate transaction records in the accounting system.
• Prepare and analyse ageing reports to identify delinquent accounts.
• Collaborate with sales to guarantee correct invoicing.
• Reconcile accounts receivable for accuracy.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5–8 years of accounts receivable experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software, preferably SAP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
