About the role
GEMS Education is seeking a dedicated Accountancy Teacher to deliver high‑quality curriculum in Sharjah. The role involves planning, teaching and assessing students while upholding the school’s core values and safeguarding standards.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging accountancy lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, attendance, assessments and teaching resources.
- Assess, record and report on student progress, using data to inform instruction.
- Utilise media and technology effectively in the classroom.
- Support students with varying needs, including ESL, low academic ability and gifted learners.
- Participate in co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programmes and school events.
- Communicate regularly with parents, keeping them informed of progress while respecting confidentiality.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in accountancy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
- Commitment to the GEMS Core Values and safeguarding policies.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using classroom technology and media.
