Accountant – Banking, Invoicing & Month‑End Support

About the role
Support day‑to‑day accounting operations including bank reconciliations, invoicing, accounts reconciliation, and month‑end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain bank accounts, record daily receipts/payments and prepare bank reconciliation statements.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices based on approved service records or sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Assist with accounts payable payments, including validation of documentation per internal policies.
- Support finance team in month‑end and year‑end closing, preparing reconciliations, schedules and journal entries.
- Record journal entries, maintain accounting vouchers and liaise with banks, vendors and internal teams.
- Provide data and documentation for internal or external audits and perform other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Currently residing in Dubai, UAE.
