About the role
The Accountant & Bursar will support the efficient financial operations of Jumeirah International Nurseries, handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks with strong attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
- Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and overall bookkeeping.
- Ensure compliance with financial and VAT regulations and adhere to head‑office accounting requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation, bank accounts, petty cash and cash‑flow projections.
- Monitor and collect outstanding fees, publish monthly financial statements and support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience with strong numerical orientation.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
