Accountant – Corporate Services (UAE)

About the role

Swiss Group is seeking a proactive, client‑focused Accountant to manage a portfolio of entities across multiple industries in the United Arab Emirates. You will work within a leading professional services firm, ensuring compliance with UAE accounting, VAT and corporate tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for several client entities, including bookkeeping, journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end/year‑end closings.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
• Handle UAE VAT registrations, filings, refunds, voluntary disclosures and FTA compliance via EmaraTax.
• Manage UAE Corporate Tax registrations, computations, filings and Small Business Relief assessments.
• Produce management, cash‑flow and financial analysis reports for clients.
• Support new company incorporations by setting up accounting records and chart of accounts.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, government and free‑zone authorities and assist during regulatory audits.
• Maintain accounting policies, internal controls and stay updated on changes to UAE accounting, VAT and corporate tax regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Experience in a corporate services provider, audit firm, consultancy or accounting practice.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CMA is an advantage.
