Accountant – Finance Department

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to support the Finance Department by accurately recording financial transactions, preparing purchase orders and maintaining organized accounting records. The role involves day‑to‑day financial and administrative tasks and works closely with internal teams to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and encode financial transactions into the accounting system.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company procedures.
• Verify supporting documents for accuracy before processing.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, purchase orders, payments and other financial documents.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding balances when required.
• Prepare payment requests and related documentation.
• Support monthly closing activities and the preparation of financial reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchase requests, invoices and payment status.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Finance Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
