Accountant – Financial Management & VAT Specialist

About the role

Brand Waves Advertising LLC is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to support its financial operations in Sharjah. You will handle core accounting tasks, ensure VAT compliance, and contribute to project profitability analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, payment and receipt vouchers.
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare VAT reports and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
• Process payroll, employee reimbursements, and supplier payments.
• Monitor project costs, prepare profitability reports, and reconcile supplier and customer statements.
• Maintain fixed‑asset and inventory records.
• Prepare monthly financial and management MIS reports.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Experience in signage, construction, manufacturing, or advertising is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and independent‑working abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Hindi, Malayalam or Arabic is a plus.
