Accountant – Financial Operations for Organic Farm

About the role

The Organic Farm, the agricultural arm of Abu Dhabi Capital Group, is seeking an Accountant to manage its financial operations. Based in Al Ain, you will handle accounting records, budgeting, reporting, cost control and procurement finance support for the farm’s sustainable organic activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers and journal entries in line with group standards.
• Process supplier invoices, payments and monitor receivables and collections.
• Track operational spending against budgets, analysing farm expenses such as feed, fertilizers, utilities, equipment maintenance and labour.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, providing cost and profitability analysis for management and ADCG Group Finance.
• Support procurement finance by verifying RFQs, quotations and purchase requests, ensuring compliance and budget availability.
• Coordinate payroll inputs with HR, validating overtime, labour costs and allowances.
• Assist internal and external audits, ensure VAT compliance and maintain organized financial documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, logistics or operations‑driven environments.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity and the ability to work independently in a farm setting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with an ERP system.
