Accountant - Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

About the role

BitDelta Pro is a regulated multi-asset broker offering access to global financial markets. It is looking for an Accountant to own day-to-day accounting, financial reporting and reconciliation. The role sits at the intersection of finance, operations and compliance, ensuring every reported number stands up to scrutiny from auditors and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and deliver the month-end close on time
• Prepare management accounts and variance analysis, explaining key movements to senior stakeholders
• Reconcile bank, custodian, liquidity provider and payment processor accounts daily and monthly, and oversee client funds and segregated accounts
• Manage VAT and UAE corporate tax filings, maintain the compliance calendar and support regulatory and capital reporting
• Manage procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles, vendor and intercompany records, and invoice coding
• Coordinate internal and external audits, document financial controls and segregation of duties
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting, and analyse cost, margin and revenue trends
• Streamline finance processes and work with Technology and Operations to ensure clean data feeds the ledger

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with ACCA, CPA or CA (or working towards one)
• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in financial services, brokerage, fintech or a regulated environment
• Solid grounding in IFRS, month-end close and general ledger management
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax
• Experience with reconciliations, including bank, client money or custody accounts
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
• ERP or accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics
• Preferred: broker or exchange experience, regulatory reporting, multi-currency environments, Big Four audit exposure, and tools such as Power BI
