Accountant

About the role

3S Capital is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its Finance team. The role supports day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial records and reporting in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain bookkeeping and general ledger records, including journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reported on schedule.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules and variance analysis to aid business decisions.
• Assist with VAT compliance, preparing and submitting returns with proper documentation.
• Provide audit support by preparing schedules, reconciliations and coordinating with external auditors.
• Manage organized, audit‑ready financial documentation in line with internal controls and statutory requirements.
• Review financial data for accuracy, investigate variances and contribute to improving controls and processes.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues and cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support ad‑hoc reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 5‑6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi‑entity setting.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
