Accountant

About the role

RUKOOZ WOOD INDUSTRIES LLC is looking for a qualified and detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team in the UAE. You will manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support reporting and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately and promptly.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger postings.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, processing supplier invoices, customer payments, and expense claims.
• Reconcile bank accounts, monitor cash flow, and prepare periodic financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and project cost monitoring.
• Prepare VAT reports and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and financial record‑keeping systems.
• Coordinate with procurement, operations, and management on financial matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, joinery, or fit‑out industries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and UAE VAT regulations.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software; Odoo is an advantage.
