Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join the Finance team at 3S Capital, a private investment and operating group. The role supports day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate, complete and timely financial records and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain bookkeeping and general ledger records, preparing journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reported on schedule.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules and variance analyses to support business decisions.
• Support VAT compliance by preparing, reconciling and submitting VAT returns.
• Provide audit support, preparing schedules and coordinating with external auditors.
• Maintain organized, audit‑ready documentation in line with internal controls and statutory requirements.
• Review financial data for accuracy, investigate variances and contribute to improving controls and processes.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues and cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support ad‑hoc reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5‑6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, high integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
