About the role
The Accountant will manage supplier payable vouchers and ensure accurate entries in the JD Edwards ERP system. The role focuses on maintaining correct balances, timely payments, and compliance with SOPs.
Key responsibilities
- Process non‑goods and goods supplier payable vouchers in JD Edwards ERP, ensuring accurate GL postings.
- Prepare monthly statements, reconcile and analyze payable accounts to maintain correct balances.
- Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders, obtain approvals, and record transactions in the ERP.
- Execute bank payment entries, reconcile bank accounts, and record transactions promptly.
- Review and improve existing accounts payable processes.
- Reconcile specific GL accounts and prepare monthly schedules.
- Record petty cash expenses according to expense heads.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 0–2 years of accounting experience.
- Fluency in English.
