Accountant

About the role

Join the House of AMOUAGE as an Accountant, supporting day‑to‑day financial operations across e‑commerce reconciliation, banking, accounts payable, VAT coordination and financial record management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage banking activities, fixed‑asset acquisitions, disposals, journal vouchers and month‑end journal entries for all UAE entities.
• Process and reconcile PayPal and Checkout.com internet receipts, coordinate customer recharge transactions and monitor payment collections.
• Prepare monthly reports such as bank and deposit reconciliations, budget closure summaries, employee cost reports and customer payment summaries.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, statutory audits and VAT filings by preparing required schedules and documentation.
• Maintain vendor master data, assist IT in finance automation, and conduct stock counts for year‑end audit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable or financial operations.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify, PayPal or Checkout.com.
• Bank reconciliation, payment‑gateway processing and fixed‑asset management.
• Knowledge of VAT coordination, audit support and financial controls.
