Accountant – Project Accounts Payable & Payments

About the role

The Accountant will manage all accounting and financial records related to the project's accounts payable, CAPEX, and cost allocation. You will ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, maintain registers, and support audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process payable invoices in SAP, ensuring correct coding and adherence to the 3‑way matching checklist.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations, cash forecasts, and liability reports for ADPIC.
• Maintain contracts, purchase order, and escrow account registers.
• Coordinate project payments with the Treasury Manager and manage loan disbursements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close, including accrual bookings and external audit requirements.
• Generate ad‑hoc financial reports and update stakeholder dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of general accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and basic accounting procedures.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP accounting modules.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
