Accountant & Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a professional Accountant cum Receptionist to handle day‑to‑day accounting tasks while providing a welcoming front‑desk experience. The role combines financial record‑keeping, invoicing and VAT support with visitor management, call handling and general office administration.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily financial transaction records and process invoices, receipts and payment vouchers.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, record expenses, purchases and sales in the accounting system.
• Perform bank, cash, supplier and customer reconciliations and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Assist with monthly closing, financial reporting and UAE VAT documentation.
• Handle the reception area, greet visitors, answer and redirect telephone calls.
• Respond to general emails, schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
• Organise incoming correspondence, courier deliveries and office filing systems.
• Support data entry, document preparation, printing, scanning and coordinate with suppliers for office needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, reception or office administration.
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and UAE VAT requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and professional communication abilities.
