Accountant – Retail Finance (Dubai)

About the role

Brand Folio is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support its retail distribution operations in Dubai’s JAFZA free‑zone. The role involves managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and bank reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and basic financial analysis for management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a multi‑sector retail environment.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial accounting and general ledger management.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency in ERP accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting standards and tax compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
