Accountant – Retail Trading (Dubai)

About the role

A retail trading company in the UAE is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands‑on experience with ODOO ERP, and a solid understanding of inventory accounting and financial reporting. This role is well suited for professionals who can manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support inventory control while ensuring compliance with company accounting procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and inventory‑related reporting.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month‑end accounting activities.
• Maintain bookkeeping records, general ledgers, and financial documentation.
• Process accounting entries using ODOO ERP.
• Support internal financial controls and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare reports and analyses using Microsoft Excel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience in a retail trading company.
• Strong proficiency in ODOO ERP is mandatory.
• Experience in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping and ledger management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
